Installation Instructions:

1. This heat exchanger can be used as a heat-exchange component in sealing auxiliary system schemes such as PLAN 21, 22, and 41 in API682.

2. The gas inside the pipeline and the shell should be effectively vented to facilitate effective heat exchange.

3. Softened water is typically used as the cooling medium to prevent scaling inside the heat exchanger due to excessively hard water, which could affect heat transfer efficiency.

4. Regularly observe the inlet and outlet temperatures, and adjust the flow rate of the cooling medium to achieve the desired operating temperature.

5. Regularly inspect and clean the heat exchanger to remove oil deposits and scale, ensuring its sealing performance and heat transfer efficiency.

6. If the heat exchanger is not used during winter, the medium and cooling liquid inside should be completely drained to prevent frost-cracking damage.

7. The heat exchanger must be installed securely according to the drawing requirements. Horizontal heat exchangers and vertical heat exchangers cannot be interchanged for use.

8. Heat exchangers made of commonly used materials can only be used in media with general corrosivity. If the medium is highly corrosive, please contact our technical staff to select the appropriate material suitable for the corresponding working conditions.
